1990 White Diet Stadium Cup

This one could be from either 1990 or 1991. If you know, please let us all know. If I were to bet, I would say this one is from 1990, based only on the use of the same Herbie Husker design similar to the 1989 version.  It is a translucent white plastic instead of solid, opaque white. Sponsors listed on the side include Diet Coke, and Diet 7-UP. Made by Packer Plastics of Lawrence, KS and Reno, NV. It stands 5-1/2" tall.

This may have been about the time that Nebraska changed sponsors from Coke to Pepsi, although some sources say that Pepsi took over the contract in 1997. Not so sure about that, since the 1997 and 1998 season cups all list Coke as the sponsor.  My thought is 1999 is when they officially switched over to Pepsi.

2004 or 2005 Valentino's 3D Stadium Cup

This is an interesting cup that was never released. A small batch was made before it was decided not to use the design. Very few were taken out of the plant and survive today. Most likely from 2004 or 2005. Produced by Digital Replay, 7" tall.

The first 3D panel features Memorial Stadium, with the "N" switching between an aerial photo on game day with an artist's rendering of the planned North Stadium expansion.  The second features a shot of Mike Rozier circa 1983, with the "N" switching between the Big XII Trophy and the Heisman.  The third panel features photos of Tommie Frazier, Tom Novak, and George Flippin in the "N".

Thanks to Dustin Fanning for the cup and info

2007 3D Xtreme Graphics Cup

These cups were put out in 2007 by Xtreme Graphics.  The traditional Script Huskers N turns solid black as you rotate the cup as shown at left.  This photo from another angle shows the smaller logos in the middle of their transition. These were sold at grocery and convenience stores as well as some of the Husker gear stores as tailgating and party supplies. It is very hard to read, but the lyrics to "Come A Runnin, Boys!" is printed in the background!
