This particular token was sold by the New Orleans Mid-Winter Sports Association as printed on the back to commemorate the '74 Sugar Bowl. 

Nebraska beat the Florida Gators 13-10, finishing the year ranked 7th in the UPI, 9th in the AP poll. 

Interestingly, the Huskers came into the game ranked 8th, the Gators 18th. The Huskers ended the season with a 9-3 record, losing to Wisconsin, Missouri and Oklahoma.
